During the summer of 2023, I experienced off-and-on dizziness. It was a day-to-day situation that often derailed my plans, sometimes even making me unable to drive. I would start the day feeling dizzy, followed by a general wooziness and brain fog. I sought out various specialists, but nothing resolved my issues.
In mid-August, I booked an appointment with Sylvie. During our first session, she began massaging my feet and applying pressure to targeted areas, particularly my toes. She taught me about a pressure point to use daily. Since that first session with Sylvie, I have had no dizziness! It has been over three months now!
Every day, I wake up grateful that I feel stable and clearheaded. I am so thankful for Sylvie and her vast knowledge and expertise, which has given me my health back.

I have had episodic vertigo for the past ten years or so, ranging from severe to mildly annoying. The more severe experiences have been diagnosed as BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), while the milder symptoms I suspect are age-related.
A dear friend of mine, who is also a client of Sylvie, recommended that I try reflexology, which I did several months ago and have continued on a regular basis. I am enormously pleased to share that the BPPV has not returned since I have been seeing Sylvie. She has advised me to do a bit of self-reflexology on my big toe on a regular basis to stay tuned up between sessions, and it works! I will continue this wonderful therapy because it is much more enjoyable than the Epley maneuver that my primary care doctor prescribed.
Sylvie is highly talented and compassionate; I feel grateful to have found her.

I’ve been seeing Sylvie at Oasis Scarborough for over a year now. I’ve had two different concerns: vertigo and Achilles tendon issues. Since seeing Sylvie, my Achilles is so much better now, and while I still occasionally have vertigo (three times this year as opposed to monthly), the symptoms are much less severe and last only a short time. Sylvie spends time going over a patient’s health concerns and offering suggestions that can be done at home. Sylvie provides a quiet and soothing atmosphere, which I find to be very relaxing!

Having suffered from vertigo historically, including hospitalizations, and several times since, Sylvie reached out to me to see if I would like to try reflexology. Since I had never been a client in a reflexology practice, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Nirvana!! Not only did my vertigo resolve quickly, but a lot of tension from my entire being was released. Since then, I have had several more sessions and find reflexology to be meditative, calming, relaxing, and physically restorative, and it has made my vertigo all but disappear without drugs! I wish I had known about this process many years ago—I would have been a client much sooner. I urge everyone to try it—I’m sure you’ll be as grateful for this process as I am.
