Cami Smalley, MS, BS, CVT
My path follows my passion
My path here has not been linear, though the common thread has been learning more ways to bring about healing to pets and people.
From my start as a certified Veterinary Technician to Biology and Animal Behavior as an undergraduate in Colorado, to a 10-year stint in San Diego and the Scripps Research Institute, Maine is where I’ve found home since 2012.
Since completing a masters of science in nutrition with functional medicine as its guiding foundation, I am so motivated by this approach and feel inspired to help you with chronic health conditions through comprehensive healing.
Caring for complex, chronic conditions involves courage and discovery. At Enroot Wellness, discovery involves a functional nutrition format, using the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating the evidence of clinical imbalances with chronic conditions, history of onset, and current pain points. The art of functional nutrition lies in a personalized, preventive, and predictive model of care. Enroot Wellness can order lab work for you and offers a thorough review of your bloodwork and other biomarkers to identify nutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, food sensitivities, and more. With inflammation at the core of every disease, discomfort, and dysfunction, root cause resolution is about addressing the core of the inflammation.
Take a wellness walk with me and let’s discover a new definition of healing, health, and vitality for you.
