EFT & Life Coaching

What is EFT?

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique and is also referred to as “Tapping.” EFT guides the client to physically tap key areas of their body to achieve results.  EFT is based on traditional Chinese medicine, more specifically acupuncture and acupressure.  It focuses on strategically tapping key meridian points on the body while addressing specific emotional and/or physical conditions the client is experiencing in order to move the energies in a positive direction.

EFT is an acronym for “Emotional Freedom Technique” it is a therapy that uses the basis of acupuncture, without the use of needles to alleviate the emotional and physical stressors from life experience and disorders such as phobias, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. EFT accesses these energy ports through the fingertips, gently tapping areas of the body to move energy and redirect negative emotions. EFT founder Gary Craig explains the core idea behind the practice as “the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”
The process of EFT helps people overcome emotional, mental, and energetic blocks that lead to negative outcomes, helping the client take control of their mental, emotional, energetic, and physical well-being.  At Oasis, giving you control of your health is our priority, so naturally we are thrilled to offer this therapy with our hypnotherapist, Laura Szafranski.

What to expect during EFT treatment

Your practitioner will guide you through the philosophies and practice of EFT as she uncovers the underlying conditions you are seeking to address. This is a one-on-one appointment lasting about an hour. You can expect to feel a range of emotions as your body works through emotional triggers, and the tapping begins to move the energy around that feeling. EFT is a practice that takes consistency and openness to receive healing. The goal in your sessions is to free energy blocks and release trauma hidden in the body to bring you back to balance and eliminate the negative emotions leading to symptoms.
